Now, this list could really go on for days. There is so much queer talent emerging that the list of top anticipated female queer artists of 2026 was really tough to nail down.
In total honesty, it took both intuition and research to get a substantial list created. I had to ask, “who’s generating a lot of buzz?” and “who’s releasing exciting new work this year?”
All in all, here is my list of top anticipated female queer artists of 2026. And yes, the list may get some new additions mid- year, because I can totally do that. Celebrate queer art!
In no particular order, let’s go!
- Y’all, Slayyterr is about to have her moment! I found this bi queer with “Daddy AF, the naughty, sexual empowerment dance anthem that has so many queers head-bopping in the club and in their cars on the way to their office jobs (go ahead and admit it). In 2026, Slayyter is poised to play Coachella and release her third full-length album Wor$st Girl in America. Several singles are already out! I am totally digging “Beat Up the Chanel$”! Let her cook!
- Ya girl Young Miko is about to pop off. Latinx artists are going to rise up in 2026 and this prediction comes with confidence! Young Miko just released her album Do Not Disturb in late 2025 and will be releasing a third studio album in 2026. She is set to play a set at the 2026 Hinterland Music Festival and trust and believe, 2026 is the year Young Miko goes full on mainstream. Expect to see her everywhere! What’s Ur Vibe? I think it’s seeing Young Miko breaking through.
- Girli is another queer artist I have very high hopes for in 2026. Did all sapphics find ourselves effed up to “More Than a Friend” in 2021? Well, keep that energy up, because Girli has new music coming in 2026 with her third studio album. I cannot wait to see where this artist shines this year and I expect big sapphic anthems from her.
- Nxdia has been THE sapphic TIkTok sensation. Yeah, we were all hooked by “She Likes a Boy” and the brilliant organic marketing surrounding it. Nxdia released a full-length album in summer 2025 and if she can keep the momentum up, should have a successful 2026. Not all TikTok artists can translate this success off the app, but fingers crossed, she’s got a good live show and can ride the wave!
- I think Doechii will continue to be successful in 2026! She had the best year in 2025 with hits like “Anxiety” and subsequent Grammy nods. Let the floodgates open; her confidence should be skyrocketed and we should get queer black excellence from Doechii in 2026!
