If you think K-pop isn’t for you, let me give you one good queer reason to get into the genre–meet the genderless k-pop group XLOV you need to stream today. Having debuted in 2025 and composed of four members (Wumuti, Hyun, Rui, and Haru), XLOV is known for transgressing traditional gender norms. They are known to blend masculine and feminine elements, both aesthetically and performance wise.
Random tidbits: Their official fandom name is Evols (can you guess how that was derived??) and just know these fans are rabid. Xlov is part of 257 Entertainment (If K-pop is your thing, this is a thing to you!).
The group has retained a large amount of creative control for themselves, with Wumuti being the leader, producer, and sometimes lyricist. They are known for cool and creative dance moves to accompany their songs, in part thanks to the likes of Rui, who is noted for having trained in modern dance, ballet, and traditional Chinese dance. Not to trample on their vocals, though, as they are known for great singing, especially Hyun. It is said that member Haru has had no formal training; just pure natural talent.
